Destination Engagement Photography in Iceland

Iceland pre wedding winter engagement photography

Iceland is one of my favourite locations in the world and so it worked out perfectly when I was able to fly out to Reykjavik in Iceland to meet up with Alex and Emma for their winter engagement shoot.

Despite the extremely poor weather conditions, visibility and wind we were still able to visit a few of my favourite locations close to Reykjavik to get some images in some great spots including Skogafoss Waterfall, Seljalandsfoss waterfall and a few other spots along the way.

Emma is a talented artist and has a keen interest in animal art and so it was great that we stumbled on some rather wild but tame Icelandic horses. Keen photographers themselves we were able to build in some time for photographs of the horses and waterfalls and it was lovely to see them sharing photography so passionate with each other.

We were even more fortunate that the weather cleared up dramatically and we were treated to a beautiful sunset as the shoot come to an end.

Looking forward to capturing this amazing couples wedding later this year. Here are a few images from this destination engagement shoot in Iceland.
