Searcys Wedding Photography at the Gherkin London

London Wedding Photography at the Gherkin

The Gherkin in London is one of the most iconic buildings as you look across the London skyline and was the perfect setting for the wedding of Erkan and Yasemin.

The wedding venue is set within the glass dome on the top of the stunning Gherkin building and boasts breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views over London and is an impressive location for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

The day began with Yasemin getting ready with her bridesmaids before making her way up to the top floor of the Gherkin for the beautiful wedding ceremony. The guests then enjoyed a cocktail reception as they enjoyed the sun setting over London before the wedding breakfast.

The whole day was just as incredible as the setting for the wedding and it was a pleasure to work with such a  lovely couple.

Boreham House Wedding Photography in Essex

Chelmsford Wedding Photography at Boreham House

Dean and Laura’s wedding at Boreham House in Chelmsford was a real joy to photograph and the whole day went perfectly from start to finish.

The day began with Lara and Dean getting ready and the morning was filled with lots of smiles and emotions as the wedding ceremony drew closer. The ceremony took place in the beautiful Christ Church in Southgate and was a stunning backdrop for this couples emotional wedding ceremony. Laura and Dean are one of the most incredible couples I have ever worked with and it was no surprise to see that their kindness and genuine nature meant that there was so much love for them from their friends and family throughout the day.

Following the church ceremony, the guests then made their way to Boreham House in Chelmsford for the wedding reception and we were blessed with blue skies and glorious sunshine which allowed everyone to make the most of the stunning grounds at this lovely venue as well as providing a stunning setting for the couples wedding portraits.

The wedding breakfast and reception was held in the marquee and it was great to see all the hard work that Dean and Laura had put into planning the wedding come together so well. The florals by Helen Savva at Burgeon Floral Design looked flawless and everything was executed to perfection by wedding planner Philip Small. After the speeches, everybody hit the dance floor as the band Supatight rocked the marquee until the early hours.

Seychelles Destination Indian Wedding Event Photography

Destination Wedding Event Photography in the Seychelles

The final event of Mayur and Nikkita’s destination wedding celebrations in the Seychelles was an amazing Indian celebration at the NCS Hall in Victoria, Seychelles and was a wonderful way to end this amazing set of wedding events.

The celebrations followed a stunning destination wedding event at the Constance Ephélia Resort and destination pre wedding photography shoot in the Seychelles with the newly weds.

Over 1500 guests attended and the evening was filled with great food, live music and lots of dancing. The event was put together again by the lovely Zeenia from Xenia and it was such a pleasure to work with Mayur and Nikkita’s friends and family who were so welcoming to me throughout their wedding events.

A special mention must go to Mayur father who lives in the Seychelles and really made sure that I was looked after on the island.

Here are a few images from this destination Indian wedding celebration at the KP Hall in the Seychelles. You can also take a look at their beautiful Hindu wedding at the Potters Bar Oshwal Centre in Hertfordshire here.

Seychelles Destination Wedding Event at the Constance Ephélia Resort

The first event of Mayur and Nikkita’s destination wedding reception celebrations was a beautiful reception event at the Constance Ephélia Resort Hotel and Spa at Port Launay, Mahe Island in the Seychelles and it was an incredible event filled with friends, family and dignitaries.

The event followed Mayur and Nikkita's beautiful Hindu wedding ceremony at the Oshwal Centre in the UK and a stunning pre wedding photography shoot in the Seychelles and was put together perfectly by Zeenia from Xenia and utilised many of the Constance Ephélia’s unique spaces to create a beautiful event.

The evening started with a meet and greet for guests that had travelled from all over the world as well as local guests before food was served. Following food, the party really got started with music and dancing well into the night.

Having got to know many of the family and friends from the Indian wedding and wedding events that took place in the UK it was great to see everybody again in the beautiful Seychelles and Mayur and Nikkita are blessed to be surrounded by so many incredible people.

Here are a few images from this wonderful destination wedding event in the Seychelles at he Constance Ephélia Resort.

Oshwal Centre Hindu Wedding Photography

Hindu Wedding Photography at the Potters Bar Oshwal Centre

Mayur and Nikkita’s Hindu wedding took place at the Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar and was stunningly put together by Event Planners and Coordinators, Raj and Tina Shah.

The day began with Mayur getting ready at the Stanmore Mandir and Nikkita’s bridal preparations taking place at the Oshwal centre before the couple came together for the Hindu wedding ceremony in North London. The venue is perfect for Asian weddings as it has a huge capacity and is surrounded by stunning grounds and gardens as well as a breathtakingly unique Jain Temple that makes a unique backdrop for wedding photographs.

Mayur’s Baraat, which is the grooms entrance to a Hindu wedding was colourful and lively and Mayur came in by a beautiful Rickshaw which was an energetic and fun start to the wedding ceremony. The Hindu ceremony itself was conducted by the incredible Kamal Pandey who is one of the most amazing Hindu priests in the country and is always a pleasure to work with. The combination of music by Shiv Gopal and the calm serenity of Kamal is something that is truly magical and creates the most uniquely special wedding ceremony that always wows guests.

Following the ceremony we were able to make use of the stunning temple and gardens for some couple photographs and we were blessed with amazing weather and beautiful backdrops before heading back to the mandap for Kodi Kodi games which included the fishing for rings in milk game that is always my favourite as it really gets the friends and family involved as they cheer on either the bride and groom.

The couple’s reception events were to be held in the Seychelles and so the couple made a lovely exit following the emotional vidaai.

Here are a few images from this Hindu wedding at the Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar. Many thanks to my talented second photographer, Sarah Pipkin and videographer Hari-Om who were a pleasure to work with.
