A Stunning Destination Wedding in Iceland
When C&E contacted me about their gay destination wedding in Iceland, I knew it was going to be something really special. The couple were so passionate about their plans that I had been looking forward to joining them to capture the day all year.
We had previously had an engagement session in London's Heathrow and so I know just how much fun C&E were to work with and the wedding itself couldn't have gone any better. Every single detail was planned perfectly and from the welcome pack I received on arrival through to the trip Iceberg hunting which we took the day after the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. The sun never sets in Iceland in the summer months and the wedding took full advantage of this with the party going on until the very early hours.
The ceremony took place in the traditional church which is part of Skoga Museum, near Skogafoss, Skoga, Southern Iceland and it was one of the most picturesque churches I have ever seen. The perfect setting for a destination wedding. The reception then took place in front of the amazing waterfall at Skogafoss and it really was the most stunning setting!
Much of the credit for the success of this wedding goes to the team at Pink Iceland who put together this perfect destination wedding. I have agreed to keep most of the images from this Destination wedding in Iceland private, but here are a few images that I am able to share.
Thanks so much for bringing me with you guys...a truly amazing experience!
