This beach in New Zealand's South Island really did feel like the edge of the world. It was such an spooky place with nobody in sight and thousands of pieces of driftwood lining the shore which you can just make out in the picture. We had driven for a few hours without seeing another car or person and the place just felt like there was nothing else beyond.

I had never seen a scene like this before with the snow capped mountains so close to the sea so we stopped for a while to take a few shots and even from our cliff top location we could feel the spray of the sea.
