Scotland Pre Wedding Photography in Glencoe UK

Glencoe and Fort William Pre Wedding Photography in the Highlands of Scotland

Patrick and Maggie's pre-wedding photography shoot in Scotland took place in the incredible highlands around Glencoe and Fort William and was an adventure-filled shoot with a lovely couple.

After spending a few weeks talking with Patrick and Maggie to come up with the perfect itinerary for their pre-wedding shoot we decided on using Glencoe Fort William as a base for exploring the area around Glencoe National Park and Fort William to give them a good variety of locations that included some of the stunning Scottish lochs and beautiful mountains that surrounded these lakes and the Glencoe area.

The Scottish highlands have always been one of my favorite locations for pre-wedding photography in the UK and the scenery there is simply breathtaking. We began the shoot in Glencoe National Park itself and was met with some pretty wet Scottish weather to start the shoot but Patrick and Maggie were so incredible to work with and braved the rain to get some beautifully dramatic photographs in this amazing setting.

After Glencoe, the weather eased up as we made our way up to Fort William to visit the Old Inverlochy Castle ruins which is a historic and beautiful backdrop for pre-wedding photography. Following a break for an outfit change, we made use of the last of the evening light to capture some photographs at Loch Eli in Fort William which is a beautiful Scottish lake with an impressive mountain backdrop and was the perfect location to end this amazing pre-wedding photography shoot in the Scottish highlands.

Patrick and Maggie were such an amazing couple to work with and I had so much fun with them on this adventure. Here are a few images from this pre-wedding photography shoot in the Scottish highlands around Glencoe and for William.
