Shendish Manor Hindu Wedding Photography Hertfordshire

Hindu Wedding Photography in Hertfordshire at Shendish Manor Hotel Hemel Hempsted

Meet and Sandra's Hindu wedding ceremony took place at the lovely Shendish Manor Hotel in Hertfordshire and was a beautiful day filled with emotion. The wedding brought together two families and cultures with Sandra's family in France travelling to the UK to celebrate this wonderful fusion wedding.

The day began with bridal preparation at Shendish Manor and Sandra looked stunning in Indian attire and decorated in henna. Meet's entrance was amazing with lots of energy as the Jaan procession made their way into the grounds as the two families came together before the ceremony.

Soham Acharya conducted the Hindu ceremony on the mandap and Indian wedding ceremonies are always filled with colour and lots of incredible moments.

After the ceremony and the Koda Kodi (traditional games), we made our way out into the stunning grounds at Shendish Manor for the couple's wedding photographs, and it was a pleasure to work with such a relaxed and easy-going couple.

The reception took place following an afternoon break and was every bit as incredible as the wedding ceremony itself. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout which made it such a unique and personal evening. Multi-cultured weddings are extra special as they allow couples to incorporate different aspects of each culture. This was especially true for the reception with beautiful speeches from both the bride's parents and the bride.

One of the highlights of the evening were performances given by friends and family, including a dance routine and singing performances, and this was followed by the first dance which signalled the start of the party.

Having worked with Meet and Sandra for their lovely woodland pre wedding photography shoot in Buckinghamshire, I knew what an incredibly warm and genuine couple they are, and it was a pleasure to tell their story.

Here are a few images from this Hindu wedding ceremony and reception at Shendish Manor in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire.
