Ritz Hotel London Wedding Photography

Pakistani Wedding Photography at the Ritz in London

The Ritz Hotel in Piccadilly, London is one of the most iconic and luxurious hotels in the world and was the perfect setting for Jibraun and Sonya's Pakistani wedding celebration. Following a stunning pre wedding South Asian Mehndi at the Sheraton Grand in Park Lane, the wedding event itself was another incredible event.

The day began with the bride and groom getting ready in the lovely suites at the Ritz and as the couple are from Los Angeles in the USA they held an American style first look in front of the Ritz before heading in for a beautifully emotional ceremony.

The wedding reception was held between the Marie Antoinette and Music room which are both incredibly luxurious entertaining spaces and an incredible setting for this South Asian wedding celebration.

After dinner there was plenty of dancing and fun followed by an emotional Rukhsati send off as family send the bride off to her new life.

Here are a few images from this beautiful Pakistani wedding at the Ritz in London and you can check out some images from the pre wedding Mehndi here.

East Wintergarden Hindu Wedding Photography in Canary Wharf London

Hindu Wedding Photography at East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf

Vishal and Deepa’s Indian Hindu wedding and reception was an incredible day that took place at East Wintergarden in London’s Canary Wharf and followed their romantic civil wedding ceremony at Hever Castle.

The day began with Vishal’s Hindu Baraat which is one of the most energetic and fun traditions of a Hindu marriage and consists of the grooms procession where he is led to the venue by friends and family. Vishal had chosen to do this by horse and it was incredible to see a sea of colour and dancing in the centre of Canary Wharf.

The Hindu ceremony itself is always so colourful emotional and Deepa’s entrance was certainly both of these. Once on the Mandap, the ceremony continued with the exchange of garlands and many other Hindu rituals including walking round the fire and the 7 steps or vows that provide the foundation of Indian marriages.

After the ceremony we spent a little bit of time capturing some of the couples photographs around Canary Wharf before heading back to the Mandap for the Koda Kodi game where the couple fish for the ring as well as the emotional Vidai which is the bride’s goodbye to her family. The couple then retreated to their Canary Wharf hotel to get prepared for the evening wedding reception at the East Wintergarden.

The Indian wedding reception at Canary Wharf was just as colourful and energetic as the Baraat and there was a stunning first dance by the couple and performances from the talented Ashanti strings as well as some of the couples relatives. This was followed by lots of dancing until the early hours and was the perfect way to end this amazing Indian wedding.

Music: Ashanti Strings. Ashanti strings are an incredible musical entertainment option that offer something truly unique .Their high energy electrical strings performance of western and bollywood music always captures the guests attention and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

About the Venue: East Wintergarden is Canary Wharf’s premier event venue and is a spectacular glass structure with 27 metre high glass ceilings. The marble floors and imposing open plan space make this an impressive wedding venue and is perfect for Asian Hindu weddings as there is so much flexibility within the wedding venue.

There are three wedding event spaces and these consist of the main hall, the gallery and the promenade room and the wedding venue capacity of 500 makes it one of the largest wedding venues in central London. You can find out more about weddings at the Canary Wharf East Wintergarden here.

Hever Castle Wedding Photography in Kent

Kent Wedding Photography at Hever Castle

Hever Castle in Kent is an incredibly historic wedding venue near Edenbridge in Kent as was the perfect choice for Vishal and Deepa's romantic civil wedding ceremony.

The ceremony took place in the Italian Garden at Hever Castle and was conducted under the beautiful arched columns which overlook the stunning lake and the sunny weather made the ceremony extra special. A family of ducks from the lake even came to join in the ceremony and stood watching as the rings were exchanged.

The grounds of Hever Castle are amongst the most picturesque in the UK and the great weather allowed us to make the most of the setting for Vishal and Deepa's wedding photographs.

Here are a few images from this civil wedding ceremony at Hever Castle in Kent. You can view the Hindu wedding Photography at East Wintergarden which took place in Canary Wharf, London here.

Sikh and Portuguese Wedding Photography in London

A Portuguese and Sikh Wedding in London

I love seeing different cultures come together for weddings and Luis and Gunita's Sikh wedding ceremony in London brought together two very different families for the most amazing wedding.

Part one of Luis and Gunita's wedding was the religious Sikh ceremony that took place at Gunita's family home in London. The day was perfectly planned thanks to the talented Parita Patel at Rishtaa Weddings and Events and it was a truly magical event.

Luis was lucky enough to share his wedding day with the Euro 2016 football finals and his beloved Portugal managed to win the final making the day even more special.

It was important for Gunita's to share the day with her dog Ticus and having the ceremony at home meant that this was possible and Ticus played a very important part in helping Gunita get ready!

After the ceremony the weather cleared perfectly and we were able to get outside for some outdoor photographs in the most perfect setting. Here are a few images from this stunning Sikh wedding in London.

You can view the second part of this wedding which took place at the Institute of Directors at 116 Pall Mall in London by clicking here.

Hindu Wedding Photography at Hatfield House Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire Wedding Photography at Hatfield House

Hatfield House in Hertfordshire was a stunning location for a wedding and Nitesh and Trishna's Hindu wedding was certainly stunning.

Hindu weddings are always so energetic and vibrant and I love how fun and colourful they are. The day began with the Baraat which is the grooms wedding procession and this was followed by the Hindu ceremony itself which was conducted by the amazing Kamal Pandey. I have been lucky enough to photograph many of Kamal Pandey's weddings and he is the most incredible Hindu priest out there! The ceremony was followed with the Koda Kodi or ring fishing game which is always fun to capture before the reception at the Old Palace.

Nitesh and Trishna had put a lot of time and effort into planning this beautiful wedding and it was great to see all of their hard work and effort pay off so well. Here are a few images from this Hindu wedding at Hatfield House.
