Oshwal Centre Wedding Photography Potters Bar

Hindu Wedding Photography at the Potters Bar Oshwal Centre

Mayur and Nikkita’s Hindu wedding took place at the Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar and was stunningly put together by Event Planners and Coordinators, Raj and Tina Shah.

The day began with Mayur getting ready at the Stanmore Mandir and Nikkita’s bridal preparations taking place at the Oshwal centre before the couple came together for the Hindu wedding ceremony in North London. The venue is perfect for Asian weddings as it has a huge capacity and is surrounded by stunning grounds and gardens as well as a breathtakingly unique Jain Temple that makes a unique backdrop for wedding photographs.

Mayur’s Baraat, which is the grooms entrance to a Hindu wedding was colourful and lively and Mayur came in by a beautiful Rickshaw which was an energetic and fun start to the wedding ceremony. The Hindu ceremony itself was conducted by the incredible Kamal Pandey who is one of the most amazing Hindu priests in the country and is always a pleasure to work with. The combination of music by Shiv Gopal and the calm serenity of Kamal is something that is truly magical and creates the most uniquely special wedding ceremony that always wows guests.

Following the ceremony we were able to make use of the stunning temple and gardens for some couple photographs and we were blessed with amazing weather and beautiful backdrops before heading back to the mandap for Kodi Kodi games which included the fishing for rings in milk game that is always my favourite as it really gets the friends and family involved as they cheer on either the bride and groom.

The couple’s destination wedding events were to be held in the Seychelles and so the couple made a lovely exit following the emotional vidaai.

Here are a few images from this Hindu wedding at the Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar. Many thanks to my talented second photographer, Sarah Pipkin and videographer Hari-Om who were a pleasure to work with.
